I have worked in the plastics and chemical industry since 1997. I started in process engineering and compounding. Plant management, technical general management and responsibility in crisis and change situations followed later.
Today I support manufacturing companies as an interim manager, consultant and coach. I bring technical understanding and leadership experience together. That helps me grasp a situation quickly and develop workable solutions with the people in the plant.
How I work
I listen first and look at the work on site. Then we clearly name what should be achieved, who is responsible for what and how we will recognise progress. During a mandate I am available, I take decisions and I keep implementation in view.
An assignment is successful for me when your team can continue independently after the handover. Passing on knowledge and anchoring responsibility in the company is therefore part of the work from the start.
